Which EU rules apply to this HS code?

Type your product's customs code: HS, CN, Türkiye's GTİP or India's ITC-HS, at least 4 digits. You see at once whether it falls under the EU CBAM, the 2028 CBAM proposal, the UK CBAM from 2027 and the EU Deforestation Regulation.

At least 4 digits. Spaces, dots and a prefix such as HS or GTİP are fine.

How the answer is found

  • EU CBAM: the code is compared with every good that has an EU default value, which lists all CBAM goods except electricity.
  • 2028: the code is compared with Annex I of the Commission's proposal. Parliament and Council may still change the list.
  • UK CBAM: the EU goods the UK tables cover, plus ferro-silicon, without electricity.
  • EUDR: Annex I of the Deforestation Regulation as it stands since 18 September 2026; cattle leather and most rubber articles left it then.

When your code is national

Only the first six digits of a customs code are the same worldwide. When your code matches nothing in full, it is compared at six digits, and the answer is "check your CN code", never "no". Ask your EU importer for the CN code they declare.
