CBAM data feed

Copies of the CBAM reference data the European Commission publishes, as plain files your ERP, spreadsheet or script can read: default values, benchmarks and certificate prices. Free, no sign-up, open to requests from any site (CORS).

FileWhat it holds
/data/v1/index.jsonList of the files, their version and the date the data was last updated.
/data/v1/default-values.jsonEvery table of Annex I and Annex IV: for each CN or TARIC code its description, sector, direct, indirect and total default value and production route, plus the mark-ups per year.
/data/v1/default-values.csvThe same default values as one CSV (table, cn, description, sector, direct, indirect, total, route).
/data/v1/benchmarks.jsonColumn A and Column B benchmarks per CN code and production route, with the CBAM factor for each year.
/data/v1/certificate-prices.jsonThe official CBAM certificate prices published by the Commission, with their publication dates.

Sources and updates

Default values: Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621 Annex I/IV as corrected by (EU) 2026/1740 (Commission file v2, 6 Aug 2026).

Benchmarks: Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2620, Annex section 5, Column B, every production route (Commission file v1, 6 Feb 2025).

Certificate prices: the Commission's price page; latest €82.32 for Q3 2026, published 2026-10-05. New prices are added the day they are published.

Every release is checked value by value against the Commission's own Excel files, so the feed matches them exactly. The Official Journal texts remain the binding version.

Using the values

Value for a good = total default value (direct where there is no total) × (1 + mark-up): 10% in 2026, 20% in 2027, 30% from 2028, 1% for fertilisers. A country that is not listed, or a good without a value for its country, uses “Other countries and territories”. Annex IV applies only to precursors whose country of production is unknown.

Free allocation deducted per tonne = CBAM factor × Column B benchmark of the default value's route; values marked (1) are for production years 2026-27 and (2) for 2028-30, and for alloy grades the highest value applies.
